What Is EHRMA النص بالغة العربية
The Egyptian Human Resource Management Association (EHRMA) is a non-governmental and not for profit body that is dedicated to the service of the HR profession. It seeks to build awareness of the HR profession and to provide a stimulating environment to enrich and develop it. Networking, research and learning opportunities; monthly training programs and workshops addressing critical issues; the introduction of sound and ethical practices, a website and a periodical newsletter are some of the services it provides to its members.

Inaugurated in October 2000, it has a membership platform of over 230 HR managers and practitioners. Through offering these services, EHRMA aspires to contribute to the economic development of the country and to become the leader and voice of the HR profession of Egypt.

To promote the human resource management profession as an integral component of the economic development of the community-at-large in Egypt and throughout the region.
Three year strategic plan
Outcome-Oriented Goals
Following are EHRMA's draft long-range goals for the first three years. The achievement of each GOAL will move the organization toward realization of its vision and fulfill its mission. Each goal is accompanied by a set of objectives and action steps that describe how EHRMA will move towards the implementation of their work plan. This is meant to be a living, working document and needs to be reviewed and revised periodically by the EHRMA Board.
Goal 1: Awareness
To build awareness of Human Resource Management as a profession.

Goal 2: Best Practices
To promote ethical behavior and establish best business practices throughout the Human Resource Management profession.

Goal 3: Information
To provide ideas, resources and solutions to Human Resource Management issues.

Goal 4: Advocacy
To build a membership base which will advocate for issues relating to Human Resource Management.

Goal 5: Learning
To share available research and learning opportunities for professional development within the Human Resource Management profession.

Goal 6: Certification
To develop and offer Human Resource Management Certification at various levels of proficiency through affiliation with an educational institution.

Goal 7: Networking
To provide professional networking opportunities for Human Resource Management professionals and practitioners as well as a link to the global Human Resource Community.

Goal 8: Administration And Finance
To become a financially stable and self-sufficient membership organization.
