It targets, those who currently assume or will assume the cross-functional responsibilities of company leadership, presenting to them an integrated view of the fundamentals of management.
Program Description
The program consists of 4 sessions provided over a period of 4 months, and covering both the academic concepts as well as the practical applications of the following topics:
1. Strategic Management
Strategic Management helps you identify and evaluate new opportunities, new alliances and new approaches. It provides practical tools that enable you to implement and manage your business plan skillfully, shrewdly and continually.
Strategic Management also helps you learn how to turn a strategic plan into a solid action plan with performance outcomes you can measure. While a strategy may emerge full-blown from your imagination, making it workable within the parameters of your organization can be a daunting challenge.
2. Finance and Cash Flow Management
Without cash, companies simply won’t exist. Cash problems are the most common causes of business failures. However, many managers are not quite sure how to measure and control the cash flowing in and out of their companies and how it relates to profits. This program alerts you as a manager to the vital need for maintaining a healthy cash flow.
3. Corporate Governance and HR
Certain high-profile events and wide-sweeping reforms have made the environment for corporate governance an enormously challenging one. Pressured by increasing demands for greater knowledge, independence, and accountability, corporate boards are finding themselves under more intense scrutiny than ever. Strengthening the performance of both the board and the company management is now a formidable task that requires extraordinary leadership on your part.
4. Marketing, Advertising and Branding
This is the first step towards improving the reputation, image, perceived value, and awareness of your brand. You will have the input needed to validate, through market research, brand identity, and messaging alternatives. You will also be introduced to how you can have consensus around the first draft of your brand identity map. Taking this workshop will create a common understanding of what a "brand" is, how it works and why it's important. You will know how to create and use brand identity to create a compelling story for your business, product, or service.
